Prajyoti Book distribution scheme is an innovative and extremely well thought of accomplishment of a man who felt the social need for opportunity of education

Children of working parents with limited resources, children with parents who are addicts, children who need to work to support their families, children who obtain education through the facility of night school get little or very little time for self study.

This is a very large and mind blogging social problem where a generation of poor children cannot be allowed to waste away without education and without giving them an opportunity to better their lot through studies. Governmental aid is restricted; social organizations cannot reach all the children even of the city.

In order to go through the system of examinations these children are offered certain books of guidance to aid them to clear the ordeal of assessments during Board Examinations.

One man thought about this problem and felt that there was a social need, a need that can be addressed in the name of this unrelated late sister Prajyoti who always wanted to study but could not do so due to her family problems, Prajyoti suffered the inability to study further, an accident weakened her body and death took her away from the world and then in her pious memory did her brother decide to star this Book Distribution Scheme to help out needy children and aid them in their Board Examinations

In city of Mumbai there are night schools where teachers teach without monetary considerations as a social commitment and responsibility to the generation of mankind that will grow with the nation.

Prajyoti’s brother Rajesh who is tirelessly working towards this goal is to be commented and the entire project lauded as a great contribution for a social welfare. If one man can make a difference what can all of us do to improve mankind?

Let us all together light this torch of knowledge and let us pledge our support for such a noble cause.

It gives me great pleasure when I look back at my association with PRAJYOTI PUSTAK PEDHI (Night School). My association with them has been enjoyable and enlightening. Enjoyable for the fact that the students are extremely cheerful and enthusiastic and enlightening because they have the will to go ahead in life against all odds. Being economically and emotionally compromised makes them treat these deficiencies as a driving force.

With the aid of my children who was studying in Singapore we were able to arrange for a donation from their school. This amount helped us purchase uniforms, two sets each for the students. We also personally try to fund books for the students who cannot afford to do so.

I consider myself fortunate to be associated with the staff and social support projected by people like RAJESH SAWANT who tirelessly toil towards the upkeep of these institutions

We hope to work to the best of our ability for the future of these students. I congratulate the staff and all those associated with these schools and wish them all the very best for the future.
