Prajyoti Book Bank

Is an educational program running for the socially and economically backward students. This book bank provides books for night schools and to the students unable to afford books. It consists of books like story books, notebooks apart from that school bags, school uniforms etc will also be made available. Since, 2007, Prajyoti Book Bank has distributed over 800 guides to 25 organizations free of cost. The procedure includes of using the books and returning them back to the esteemed organization at the end of the year. Initiating this programme has increased the percentage of student studying in night schools. Previously, the result was 20% to 25% but now it has elevated to 60% to 75%. The purpose of giving books free of cost to the night school is that the student there come from extremely poor family. They work hard in the day time to earn as much as money possible to feed their family and themselves. They are willing to study but are deprived due to no proper means. These guides provided by the book bank is truly helpful.
